The Science Behind the Magic
How does a computer know what a person looked like when turning their head from a photo taken in 1890? The answer lies in latent diffusion models trained on millions of hours of natural human movement.
3D Facial Geometry Estimation
When a photo is submitted, the AI creates a dense 3D mesh model of the subject's face. This maps out depth—calculating the bridge of the nose, the depth of eye sockets, and cheekbone curvature.
Temporal Coherence & Physics
Early AI animation tools often caused warping around earrings, collars, or backgrounds. Modern temporal cross-attention layers ensure that background objects remain stationary while foreground organic features move with natural biomechanical constraints.
The result is a fluid, breathtakingly real moment of life captured across time.
